1.   Apologies. To consider any apologies and resolve whether to accept them.

2.   Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.

3.   Resolution to approve Minutes of the meetings held on 9th May 2023.

4.   Resolution to set up and agree Councillors for a Personnel Committee and agree Terms of Reference.

5.   Civility and Respect Pledge: Resolution as to whether to take up the Civility and Respect Pledge.

6.   Planning:

S23/0302 – Nonmaterial amendments to barns at Church Farm – pending consideration.

S23/0640 -  Tree works at 12 High Road, Hough – pending consideration.

S23/0735 -  Alterations to internal layout and more at The Old Hall, Brandon – pending consideration.

S23/1000 -  Extensions at Grange Farm Cottages – pending consideration.

ENF22/0122 – Beechers Farm felled trees – update by Cllr Milnes.

Neighbourhood Plan – Resolution as to way forward (Chair).

7.   Highways – new Speedwatch signs obtained and handed to Andrew Barrett for installation.

LRSP does not have anyone to come out and consider siting for SIDs.  Once someone is appointed we can organise this.  

Portable SID has been purchased from Marston PC and will be delivered to Cllr McLean.  Consider whether to try for funding for more SIDs.

Fix my Street and flooding on High Road, Hough – being progressed by Highways.  Thanks to Cllr Harris for pushing through the blockage initially.

8.    Footpaths – request for funding for permissive footpaths and request to have new footpaths linking all three villages (Cllr S Allen).

9.   Church – consider community space, footpath and lighting (Chair) and resolution as to way forward. 

10.    Defibrillators – update to responder list and defib training (Cllr S Allen).

11.   Litter pick – consider whether a group litter pick is required.

12.   Play area – Clerk ordered play bark but it did not get delivered on agreed date.  It was out of stock and was delivered on 13th June.   Clerk obtaining quotes for some repairs to equipment that need undertaking.  Resolution as to whether to have further cuts to playing field at £77 per cut.

13.    Highways Project –refurbishment of phone boxes and noticeboards, and repair of village    gate at Brandon commences 20th June.

14.    Finance –

[i]  resolution to sign bank reconciliation at 31.5.23.

[ii] bank mandate had amendments required – now resolved.

15.    Correspondence – reminder of training 3.7.23.

16.   Date of next meeting – 12th September 2023.
