AGENDA

1.   Apologies. To consider any apologies and resolve whether to accept them.

2.   Declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.

3.   Resolution to approve Minutes of the meeting held on 21st June 2023.

4.   Civility and Respect Pledge:  Zoom training on 4th October or 11th October.

5.   Planning:

S23/1000 -  Extensions at Grange Farm Cottages – pending consideration.

S23/1099 – Extension roof light and Porch at Wayside Farm – pending consideration

S23/1126 – Tree works at The Limes, Gelston Road – approved.

S23/1130 – Removal of metal shed, add block paving and new hedge at Wayside Farm – pending consideration.
    
NOTE – Appeal for single side extension at Hillside, Lower Road.

ENF22/0122 – Beechers Farm felled trees – any update by Cllr Milnes.

Neighbourhood Plan – Grant funding in hand for £5,440.   Resolution as to which Planning Advisor to instruct (ThinkOpenPlan in Lincoln or YourLocaleLtd in Leicestershire).  

6.   Highways – Update on sites for SID (Cllr McLean).

Bridleway Thompsons Lane – update by Cllr Harris

7.    Defibrillators – Report on training session and update on electrical checks (Cllr Allen).

Are more fridge magnets required (clerk has costings)?

8.   Litter pick – 16th September – any update by Cllr Pope.

9.   Play area – Play bark delivery imminent.  Ed Morton instructed to do repairs at play area – on 27th July was just awaiting swing seats before he could schedule us in.  Monthly inspections up to date – Cllr Rann is due to do September.

Future plans for playing field – Cllr Seage.

10.    Highways Project –all works completed.

11.    Future projects – Chair.

12.    Finance – resolution to sign bank reconciliations at 30.6.23 and 31.7.23.

13.    Social media – resolution as to whether to use any social media.

14.    Hough Charity – Councillor required to be Trustee of this Charity (see attached info).
 
15.    Correspondence – Land Registry confirm receipt of our application from May last year!

16.   Date of next meeting – 28th November (precept meeting).

17.   Resolution to go into closed session to discuss matters of a confidential nature.

Hough Charity – two Trustees have recently resigned.  The role of the trustees is to decide on how the charity distributes its modest funds to those in need in the Parish.  The funds derive from the rental of a small parcel of farm land.  Typically the trustees meet twice a year for approximately 1.5 hours.
