  1. Welcome by Chairman. 

 

  1. Apologies for absence.

 

  1. Declarations of interest.

 

  1. Resolution to approve Minutes of meeting held on 5th December 2019.

 

  1. Planning matters:  S18/ 0078 and S20/0098 – Brandon Wood Clay Shoot update by RK;                        S19/0735 – Toll Bar Service Station amended plans (including closure of northbound A1 right turn into Marston)– pending consideration;  S19/1937 – Hall Farm, Hough – objected but all conditions discharged; S19/1952 – 3 Gelston Road, Hough -  new timber garage approved; S19/2024 – The Red Barn, New Hill, Hough – tree works approved; S20/0187 – tree works at The Old Vicarage, High Road, Hough – pending consideration.  S20/0300 – removal of tree at 8 Grantham Road, Hough – approved.

 

  1. Playing field:   December and February reports to hand.  Consider Wicksteed  annual report. Resolution regarding Wicksteed quote for repair of net (£957.58) and new base for play area (£33,681.50).   Resolution to order bark (Gravelmaster = £291 for 3 bulk bags delivered).  Update on soft gate closures. 

 

  1. Road safety/Highways.  “Brandon sign” now in situ.  Flood alleviation at Church Lane, Brandon and cleaning of sewer dyke to rear of Brandon phone box– update.  Discussion and resolution regarding flowing water at High Road, Hough below the Church (RK has reported on Fix My Street).  Message from owner of 1 Hough Road, Brandon regarding water entering his driveway – passed on to Alex.

 

 

 

 

  1. Footpaths –Footpath 8 – no updates.

 

  1. Defibrillators – invoice received for 3 x annual maintenance at £349.50. This concurs with the arrangement PM made with CHT.  Resolve to pay.

 

  1. Communications –  general discussion.

 

 11.  Financial matters:

   [a] Bank balances at 29.2.20  £4,408.85 (deposit a/c} and £4,066.31 (current a/c).   

    [b] Resolution to sign bank reconciliation/income & expenditure accounts at 29.2.20.

 

 12.  To note any correspondence received – floodlight problem at property in Hough –

        dealt with and no action taken.  Kart Club’s annual Environment Policy. 

 

 13.  To consider any matters from invited speakers.
