Planning matters: S18/ 0078 and S20/0098 – Brandon Wood Clay Shoot application – update; S21/0405 – new dwelling to the south of The Cottage, Lower Road, Hough –pending consideration; S21/0466 – various alterations at Old Hall Barn, Brandon – approved; S21/0560 – replacement windows and extension at Lower Road, Hough – approved; S21/0730 – tree works at 12 High Road, Hough – approved; S21/0758 – approval of reserved details at Church Farm House; S21/0766 – Church Farm House – application to vary condition – approved; S21/0835 – new entrance and boundary wall at Grooms Cottage, Brandon – approved; S21/0871 – replace existing gate and posts and install railings at 12 High Road, Hough – approved; S21/1054 – tree works at Ashleigh, High Road, Hough – approved; S21/1263 – new store building at The Limes, Gelston Road, Hough – approved; S21/1283 – Hawthorn Cottage – various extensions – approved; S21/1286 – solar panels at Old Hall Barn, Brandon –approved; S21/1462 – tree works at 17 High Road, Hough – approved; S21/1467 – tree works at 4 Gelston Road, Hough – approved.
Resolution on whether to update/renew Neighbourhood Plan and if so, appoint an Advisory Committee.
9. Road safety/Highways. Church footpath to Lower Road – update Cllr Maughan. Culvert repair on C001 at Brandon - completed. Resolution as to whether we would we support a reduction in speed limit between Brandon and Beeswax Farming along the Stubton Road.
10. Footpaths –Footpath 8 – consider Cllr Maughan’s Briefing Note and resolution to close or not, said footpath.
11. Speed gun – resolution whether to go ahead with operating a speed gun – specifically in Brandon on the C001. If so, resolution as to which gun to use and ensure 6 volunteers available.
12. Village gates – thanks to Cllr Barrett for painting all the village gates. Resolution as to whether to have similar gates at Hough and Gelston.
13. Litter bins – finalise positioning of bins. Consideration as to installation of same on Highways land or our own land.
14. Playing field – bark delivered and spread – thanks to Cllr Knott. July inspection to hand. Resolution as to any works required.
15. Financial matters:
[a] Bank balances at 31.8.21 £5,213.35 (deposit a/c} and £5,623.74 (current a/c).
[b] Resolution to sign bank reconciliation/income & expenditure accounts at 31.5.21, 30.6.21, 31.7.21 and 31.8.21.
